Description

Responsibilities
Analyze product requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Work with discipline Leads and other engineers to create Module/Unit and Interface specification, implementation, integration and testing of product.
Perform development activities such as design, project estimates, coding, unit testing and integration testing.
Design and development of applications for voice enabled devices.
Design and develop RESTful APIs
Implement Industry best practices in design, coding and ensure Quality.
Work closely with other software and hardware engineers to solve design issues.
Responsible for Coding, Bug Fixing, Unit Testing, & Software Configuration.
Interfacing software applications with other devices and control systems.
Providing relevant documentation.
Perform peer code reviews to detect any anomalies during development.
Take complete ownership of Development and maintenance.
Work as part of an agile team.
Special Project as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Engineering is required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecting and building enterprise scale systems is required
Developer background, with experience in programming in Microsoft C#.NET, Node.js, AngularJS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, HTML5 , CSS, JavaScript
Strong experience with Object Oriented Programing and cloud software design patterns (micro services, messaging, distributed caching, etc.)
Experience with SQL Server and No SQL Databases
Conversant in web technologies, specifically HTTP and WebSocket
Experience in Developing and consuming Web Services
Exceptional communication skills and proven record of accomplishment of presenting to executivelevel leadership.
Must understand Agile/SCRUM methodologies and have applied them on a Scrum team.
Nice to have Qualifications Development experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS, including at least some of the following technologies App Services (WebApi)
Azure SQL
CosmosDB
Application Insights
Development experience in AWS, particularly Lambda functions and Alexa Skills
Development experience with Google Cloud, particularly Google Home Actions
TFS build and deployment
