Position description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop new mobile applications in collaboration with the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) team. Design and develop complex enterprise applications for the iOS platform. Rapidly develop enterprise software based on requirement documents, prototypes, or verbal requirements. Work across peer groups to resolve and understand complex technical/design issues. Learn and adopt new concepts & technologies quickly and implement them effectively in projects.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject 5+ years of software development experience.
Skills and Knowledge
5+ years software development experience building native and hybrid iOS mobile apps Experience publishing iOS apps Deep experience with ObjectiveC / Swift Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text Experience with offline storage and performance tuning Experience with CocoaPods Understanding of mobile development life cycle Experience with git/stash Experience with web based technologies like HTML, JavaScript & CSS Android development & publishing skills would be a plus Strong Object Oriented familiarity/experience Strong UI design and development experience Familiarity/experience with software design patterns such as MVC Relational database & server side development experience a plus Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies Preferably a knack for mobile design implementation
