Contractor Position Supplier (Vendor) Master Data Architect
Background SPE's SourcetoPay (S2P) Transformation Program was launched in August 2017. The first phase, which focused on modernizing and optimizing the core purchasing process to Ariba On Demand (Buying and Invoicing cloud), went live in April 2018. The second phase of this program is dedicated to establishing global purchase process standardization using tools within the SAP/Ariba Suite. This includes the deployment of Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance and Risk modules ( Upstream) in conjunction with the global rollout of Ariba On Demand core purchasing features. To effectively enable proper buying channels, preferred suppliers, and ease of use, SPE needs to clean up its master database consisting of more than 150,000 suppliers.
Job Requirements Strong technofunctional skills 5+ Years of SAP ECC 6.0 Vendor Master Data Management experience encompassing vendor master data tables, fields, and related frontend TCodes.
Comprehensive experience segmenting vendor data by purchasing groups, company codes, and account groups along with how these impact global approach
Experience working with frontend governance tools for intaking vendor creation/change requests, such as SAP MDG and custom eForms; full understanding of business intake process through approved vendor creation.
Detailed approach/methodology for cleansing and rationalizing a global SAP ECC Vendor Master database
Job Activities
Identify and provide a solution for capturing key missing data elements in SAP ECC Vendor Master contact information, especially email addresses, Tax ID Number (TIN), VAT Number, etc.
Identify and provide a solution for segmenting vendors that are procurement related vs. pure AP (e.g., payment request invoices, certain types utilities, production, participations, residuals, etc.)
Identify duplicate vendors and facilitate inactivation (making sure they are NOT active Ariba PCard vendors)
Identify vendor parentchild relationships
Facilitate streamlined process for mass updating missing vendor data as it is captured

Ariba On Demand (Buying and Invoicing cloud) integration with SAP ECC 6.0 experience
Previous implementation of Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance and/or SIPM
Management abilities manage project efforts and others who may help with cleansing data
S4/HANA experience
Media and Entertainment industry experience a plus
