Network Engineer

Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities ● Configure and Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN
● Monitor network for optimum network availability ● Optimize Network traffic utilizing Riverbed
● Maintain Network Documentation
● Participate on Oncall rotation for the Network Team
● Perform after hours change management implementation like software upgrade on network devices
● Perform Circuit Turnups
● Assist with resolving users network issues
● Work on ServiceNow tickets ● Assist on new branch office deployments
Required Qualifications ● 3 5 Year experience configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing cisco network devices.
● Knowledge of QoS troubleshooting and implementation ● Knowledge of load balancing / traffic management technology specifically with F5
● Knowledge of Firewalls specifically with Palo Alto
● Knowledge of WAN Optimization specifically with Riverbed
● Knowledge of Network Automation (Ansible and Python)
● Knowledge of Cisco Wireless Technology
● Able to read/analyze packet capture with wireshark ● Experience with networking routing protocol specifically with OSPF and BGP
● The ability to support network operations in an oncall fashion
● Selfsufficient with the ability to make engineering decisions within the documented configuration requirements and control processes
● Advanced process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
● Good Verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to participate on an OnCall rotation
Preferred Qualifications ● CCNP Certification
● CCNA Wireless
● Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
● Bachelor's Degree in IT Related program or relevant experience
