Description
The SFDC Support Engineer will take responsibility for managing field issues reported by users of P2 (construction management tool) platform, which is built on Salesforce and has integrations with internal and external Comcast systems. This role is on the Comcast TPX NGAN team, which is creating the network that will deliver the services of the future to our customers.
Primary responsibilities will include supporting Production environment and platform administration for the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities Provide L1/L2 support to the Saleforce.com
Perform all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards workflows and other routine tasks
Respond to critical production operational issues and follow up with team for resolution.
Identify issues and perform rootcause analysis to ensure they are not repeated..
Coordinate with different team on the integration points and bring resolution to the problems.
Monitor the application through tools and take appropriate steps to prevent failures and restore the service
Provide minor changes in the configuration and able to deploy them into production.
Complete regular internal system audits.
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development/Enhancement requests.
Effectively act as the liaison between users, Product, development, Test and Integration teams
Implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology.
Skills and Experience Required 35 years of Salesforce Administrator experience
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose highlevel information into details, abstract up from lowlevel information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Creative and analytical thinker with strong problemsolving skills
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great attention to detail
Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
Basic software/database development skills (e.g. Apex Programming, JAVA, Javascript, XML, HTML ,PL/SQL)
Understanding of ETL concept, design and approaches.
