Senior .NET Developer (Microsoft Stack)
Looking for a strong .NET developer with Microsoft Stack background to work on development of backend web services, including development of RESTful applications. Our client is building a service and will mainly focus on the back end using WCF. The consultant will be doing some caching (Memcached or IIS caching ) and should know software patterns. Must be able to do analysis and be able to work on completing the POC/design work. Skills Backend, .NET, C#, SQL Server
WCF Windows Communication Framework
REST APIs
Unit testing (NLog or NHibernate)
Asynchronous Development
Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging .Net applications
Experience with setup, rollout and support of IIS, Application Pool, Web Services, WCF
Strong understanding of troubleshooting and debugging in different and mixed environments
Experience working in an Agile environment and Test Driven Development environment
Analytical skills and can come up with a solution, troubleshoot, problem solving skills, etc
Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloudbased development
Extensive knowledge of Web services, WCF and JSON
Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience with NLog, NJect, or NUnit a plus
Experience .NET Development 9 years (Required)
WCF 2 years (Required)
Testdriven development 2 years (Required)
Cloud Development 2 years (Preferred)
Comfortable w/ Agile SDLC environment (Preferred)
Description Looking for truly motivated candidates with a gogetter attitude. Must be selfstarter and able to work independently when required. Ideal candidates will have extensive understanding of development of cloud based RESTful services using WCF and other .NET technologies. Candidates should have a solid comprehension of the basic principle of test driven development, including the documentation, creation and implementation of unit tests.
