Job Description Strong Knowledge of Teradata DB Platform, Performance Tuning, Architecture and Concepts
Strong Experience with Teradata technology System Administration, NetBackup and Data Domain BAR support, Data Mover, SQL, Data Load/Extraction utilities, stored procedures and Functions.
System Administration Teradata tools including Viewpoint portlets, System work load management using TASM, Ferret tools.
Performance optimization, SQL Tuning, Perform system level and application level tuning.
Operational Support for performance related issues. 24x7 Oncall Support.
Development of proactive processes for monitoring capacity and performance.
Teradata Metrics collection and reporting. Well versed in PDCR and TASM reporting.
Security Administration.
Strong knowledge of Teradata Tools and Utilities, pertaining to ETL and BI tools
Monitor SLA compliance.
UNIX shell scripting.
A dynamic personality who can multitask and help the teams where needed.
