ETL Engineer

Description

Responsibilities
Design and development of Business Intelligence platforms; including data infrastructure Develop and optimize ETL processes by demonstrating proficiency in SQL, including complex query construction and optimization
Develop required engineering process artifacts (such as the Software Development Lifecycle deliverables) for review by senior technical leadership
Implement functionality following standard software development guidelines and best practices, in accordance with strategic technical objectives
Create and maintain test plans, documentation and automated testing routines for all technical changes
Effectively communicate technical and nontechnical concepts to business and technology team stakeholders in written and verbal form
Qualifications
Experience with MS SQL server or other similar relational database technologies
Advanced experience with SSIS or equivalent technology
Ability to understand disparate data systems and data modeling concepts
Familiarity with columnar and/or noSQL data stores
Capable of working well in a collaborative environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
Degree preferred, in computer science or information systems
