Strong Hadoop/Big Data experience in an enterprise level environment
1. ETL Tool Talend Minimum of 2 years of experience. Be able to read from Data Logs, XML, JASON or SQL Sources and move to HIVE or Impala Targets.
Databases Hive, Impala. 2 Years of experience in table design best practices, decision making abilities in choosing right file format, data distribution strategies. Scripting Skills Python, Scala, Spark SQL Scheduling tools Autosys Other skills Good to have SQL Server skills like being able to convert SQL Server Stored Procedures into Scala routines. Operating System Good Linux command level skills, Shell scripting skills Communication Be able to meet with business users and document the requirements, demonstrate the product, obtain the feedback and take appropriate actions
