ETL Informatica + Hadoop Developer

Description

Hands on experience with DI tool Informatica
Performance tuning of the ETL process and SQL queries, and recommend and implement ETL and query tuning techniques.
Strong experience with Very Large Data Bases (VLDB) such as Netezza and Teradata.
Develops ETL technical specifications, designs, develops, tests, implements, and supports optimal data solutions.
Proficient in building ETL Jobs for cases such as �� Slowly changing dimensions
�� Late arriving facts
�� Late arriving dimensions
�� Hierarchy tables
�� Surrogate keys
Integrates ETL development with existing projects to maximize object reuse.
Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping and workflows in production
Troubleshoot data issues and defects to determine root cause.
Experience with UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Strong physical database design and data modeling experience.
Provide production support for a 7x24 environment on scheduled intervals.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of experience of DI implementations.
3 to 5 years of experience using Informatica DI tools.
Hadoop development experience MUST
Database design and data modeling background required (minimum 3 years).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Hadoop; Hive, Kafka, HBase, etc.
