Technical requirements
Minimum of 35 years PHP web development experience
Minimum of 3 years realworld ecommerce experience with Magento development in the last 2 years
Firm grasp of Gitbased source control
Competent with PHP objectoriented programming & MVC applications
Competent with MySQLbased database concepts
Comfort working with Linuxbased systems
Competent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
Competent in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
Experience with the agile delivery process
Competent knowledge of ecommerce data organization and relationships Store catalog (categories/products/attributes)
Sales orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)
Nice to haves
Thorough knowledge of vanilla Magento feature set and configuration
Magento 2 Certified Professional Developer
Magento 2 Cloud Commerce (Enterprise) experience
Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions
Thorough experience in customizing Magento's frontend components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
Indepth knowledge of PCI/PADSS compliance issues
Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS
Experience with caching and scaling techniques
Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
