Top Skills of the ideal candidate
Must have SSRS and SSIS experience
3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience (TSQL, ad hoc queries, views, stored procedures, functions, SSRS Reporting Services, SSIS Integration Services).
3 years of experience creating dashboards.
Experience creating a good amount of packages and reports If for example, the candidate has only created around 4 reports/packages this would not be a good fit.
SSAS Analysis services, Power View, Power BI is a plus.
Healthcare experience is a huge plus.
Good communication skills are a must.
A sense of curiosity and someone who can trouble shoot in a very logical and methodical manner is ideal. Looks at underlying causes, creative and inventive thinker
Role and Responsibilities Candidate will work on a help desk system and typical day is fielding new help desk requests for new reports and new ETL packages.
They will be merging their data environment with another data environment since this site was acquired by Anthem a couple yrs ago and are currently undergoing an integration. This person would assist with that and also spend a lot of their time doing their Lights On activities As they merge they still have daily requests for changes to existing reports, etc. As fulltime developers are busy with the integration this person would assist with day to day requests in terms of SSRS and SSIS.
They will provide training during the first week training will be on their ticking system and expectations for their codes and all the different data sources, etc.
