Financial Project Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS This senior level position would manage the most complex and highest visibility projects, and would typically require proven, seniorlevel project management skills.
5 7+ minimum years of project management experience in the banking or financial services industry
In depth exposure to the Banking and Finance Industry
Any understanding of LIBOR driven products and/or how LIBOR as a benchmark rate operates and drives products
Data Analysis Capabilities and Experience
Experience and possibly expertise with Database Queries i.e. Excel SQL etc.
Ability to work with Program Lead, Business Segment and Business Unit Managers and Business Unit teams to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule.
Experience managing and working with multiple projects/teams including multiple business units in a crossfunctional matrixed structure.
Manages the project ongoing, identifying risks, implementing changes, monitoring and communicating progress.
Ensures team members are managed effectively and kept informed of all related issues.
Experience managing all project efforts in a matrixed Program within multiple lines of businesses
Experience effectively interacting with a variety of contacts, primarily with others at the executive level
Ensures project deliverables meet program and enterprise needs.
Supports the workstream and assigned business segment goals by providing project management services.
Confirm partnership with all impacted business segments and operational functions across the Enterprise with a mapping of the appropriate workflows.
Experience at executing and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps for enterprise wide business initiatives
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Ability to articulate a complex problem, design, or build strategy
Ability to manage initiatives related to the following architecture roadmap that aligns with business strategy and the broader architecture community; hardware and capacity planning, consolidation and rationalization; related emerging technology assessment and incubation
Knowledge and understanding of Implementation strategy development and delivery
Management experience in a large corporate, multiline business organization
Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
A BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Banking or equivalent
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Indepth knowledge of banking products that Huntington transacts across different groups within the financial industry
Corporate Treasury Knowledge exposure is an added benefit and will be preferred
Knowledge and understanding of asset liability or liquidity management software, especially QRM
Knowledge and understanding of financial industry front office trading, liquidity management, and risk management
Knowledge and understanding of treasury management industry asset liability management (ALM), liquidity management, and stress testing is desirable
Any Corporate Finance experience including understanding Hedging, Rate Curves, FTP, and Cost of Funds processes in a benchmark rate environment.
