We are seeking a talented Data Developer II who can work on the continued development of our data platforms and work closely with other team members across Data, Infrastructure and Application Delivery. The successful candidate will participate in the continued design and development of reusable data assets, and use their knowledge to develop new capabilities and enhancements. This role also maintains and contributes towards Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) processes and procedures (software development lifecycle, project planning, project sizing, and application roadmap strategy). The ideal candidate must be able to collaborate with matrixed teams and represent the Data Management Organization in required meetings.
Responsibilities 2+ years of SQL experience.
3+ years of Rule Management experience.
2+ years of Java experience.
Knowledge of best practices for data development within a PCI environment.
Experience configuring Business rules in Business Rules Management.
Basic Knowledge of Java for rule configuration.
Ability to analyze enterprise level data sources and determine relationships between those sources as well as determine methodologies for integration with 3rd party data sets.
Financial industry knowledge.
Agile methodologies.
Experience configuring rules leveraging any BRM rule management software.
Expertise in building truth tables to demonstrate combinations for business rules.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate the complex to simple and easier terms for business leaders and users of data.
Expert knowledge of MS Office tools including MS Visio.
Ability to be a single rules developer on a large data driven enterprise project leveraging rules.
