Job Description BASIC FUNCTION This role reports into the SIS Replacement Project Manager in the Portfolio Management Office within Columbia Universitys Information Technology group (CUIT). CUIT seeks a Business Analyst with project manager experience and a proven track record of working on technology initiatives. Assignments will support Portfolio, Program and specific Project Management activities. ADDITIONAL POSITIONSPECIFIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Ability to understand, explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner Ability to conceptualize and think creatively Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple activities, and objectives PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of industry best practice frameworks including, BABOK; PMI; SDLC; ITIL; Six Sigma; COBIT; ISO Student Systems Skills Highly competent in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS Project, and Google Apps Desirable TFS/Jira, experience with Project Management scheduling tools
