RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions in a cost effective, longterm strategy promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high quality and scalability. The scope of the position is Review product functional requirements, infrastructure nonfunctional requirements, participate in architecture discussions and provide inputs.
Develop software solutions leveraging test driven development using unit test frameworks.
Develop software solutions that are geared towards a continuous integration/continuous delivery methodology.
Develop software solutions in a microservices service oriented architecture with loosely coupled services leveraging APIs.
Develop end user facing UI applications with usability being a key factor for customer adoption.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Required Experience working with agile/scrum methodology
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to look for standard and nonstandard problem solutions.
Experience working with the following technologies
o REST API development and frameworks
o SQL and NoSQL type databases, preferably MongoDB
o Front end technologies or frameworks (Javascript, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, Angular 5+, Angular Materials, Kendo UI, High Charts, etc.)
o Back end technologies or frameworks (Java, J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot, NodeJS, etc.)
o Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM, SOLID principles, UML, etc.)
o Log aggregation via Splunk/ELK
o Unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mock, Jasmine, etc.
o Docker/Kubernetes/Istio technology stack a plus
o Experience with Websockets will be a plus
