Technical Knowledge and Skills Experience in MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation, maintenance, cubes, and Report development
Very strong SQL skills
Exposure of any one reporting tools will MicroStrategy, Business Objects
Good understanding of SDLC.
Design layout of reports and determine the best way to present data to end users.
Experience Building dashboard.
Experience with query optimization strategies for building reports.
Desired Qualifications and Certifications MicroStrategy Certification
Must have exceptional experience on MicroStrategy 10.4 and above in areas of administration, installation, upgrade and troubleshooting.
Must have Project experience in enabling single sign on authentication and integration with .Net framework portal application.
Must have Real life project experience in mobile integration
Must have project experience in integration of Essbase application with Microstrategy
Good knowledge of IIS and windows administration.
Building and developing reporting solutions on MicroStrategy BI
Endtoend implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, reports, cubes, & dashboards
Creating and loading cubes, report caches and maintaining distribution services
Knowledgeable on admin functionalities of MSTR such as User creation, ACL, Movement of objects using Object manager, setting up of Enterprise Manager, security filters, subscriptions
Hands on experience on Installation and Deployment of MicroStrategy objects from Development to QA and Production environment.
Development and Support experience on MicroStrategy BI
Experience in customerfacing roles for requirements gathering and architecting solutions for BI projects
Trains and mentors less senior team members and business users.
Good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills, and proactive attitude
Indepth Knowledge in Data ware housing concepts, databases and advanced SQL.
Experience in building custom Java/SDK solutions, consume web services, Xquery, jSON, subscriptions/schedules to interact with MicroStrategy reports/report service documents.
Experienced in integration with Hadoop Ecosystem and search engines like Solr.
MicroStrategy Engineer who will work with the team on existing MicroStrategy development projects and also provide support. This individual will work across business and IT project teams to develop new reports and dashboards
