Position Description Western & Southern has an immediate opening for a Salesforce.com Developer. As the Salesforce.com Developer, you will help design, develop, and maintain complex applications that expand Western & Southern s use of Salesforce.com as a sales force automation tool, a CRM application, and the backbone of many other business process.
This position is assisting with the full development lifecycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment. The Salesforce Developer will be expected to gather requirements and configure the Salesforce application based on business needs with robust documentation.
The best candidates will be a highly technical professionals experienced in web application development.
Candidates should have extensive development experience with the Salesforce platform.
He/she will be comfortable communicating and presenting to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Position Requirements 3+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience developing on the Force.com platform
Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions
Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX
Triggers, and implementing new instances of SalesForce.com from scratch
Ability to gather and translate business requirements into wellarchitected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce.com platform
Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer driven solutions
Proficient on programming best practices, design patterns and design tradeoffs on internet and cloud based platform
Active Salesforce.com Developer Certification/s (Developer, Advanced Developer, Admin) a plus.
