Description

1. Experience working across multiple functions, life cycle. Design and architecture. Coordination of technical resources and infrastructure team.
2. Experience managing Data projects within the Asset Management Industry and/or specific Data Lab management
3. Strong experience managing projects data platforms within Azure
4. Project management execution experience (i.e. budgets, schedules, etc.)
If someone is familiar with the concept of DataOps, this would be great Job Description This role is responsible for managing a key initiative for our 2019 data strategy by establishing a virtual data lab and managing proof of concept projects in the lab in order to validate new data & analytics solutions and gather lessons learned for use in future enterprise implementation projects.
Tasks include the following Manage a hybrid platform (Azure cloud and onpremise) for proof of concept testing of new technologies for our Data & Analytics functional area.
Manage budget, schedule, people resources, and technology assets to accomplish project objectives within time window.
Coordinate multiple skillsets including cloud data architects, data modelers, data analysts, visualization and BI developers, infrastructure, information security, compliance, testing, and QA personnel.
Manage access control to lab and enterprise data assets.
Execute project plans for proof of concept projects in the lab environment.
Coordinate with vendors for licensing, implementation, technical integration requirements, and professional services.
Communicate with executive, business, and technical stakeholders to tell the story of the lab's accomplishments, as well as communicate about the status and results of specific projects in the lab.
Document lessons learned.
