This will be an Infrastructure platform owner that will report to Tony Montoya our Infrastructure Lead. He will be supporting the kitchen project I am leading with activities listed below to implement a server infrastructure that can support the kitchen application deployment.
Description You will lead the technical direction, planning and execution of edge computing projects and deliverables in a large scale restaurant ecosystem. You will be a key player in Taco Bells next generation of microservices deployed at the edge A.K.A. the restaurant. Success requires an entrepreneurial spirit, great communication, and a balanced background in both technology architecture and delivery of largescale technology platforms. We have a vision of where we want to take this platform, now we need someone who can bring it to life.
Some other things youll do regularly include You will be driving strategic planning, project execution, development and operations for a new infrastructure platform in a progressive and collaborative Agile environment.
You will be responsible for making hardware decisions to enable reliable operations inside the hostile environment of a restaurant.
You will be responsible for delivering endtoend solutions from initial concept through finished solution in the area of automated build, deployment, monitoring and server infrastructure.
You will be responsible for delivering highly available microservices and virtual machines that can operate our restaurants well into the future.
You are technical enough to be comfortable asking questions that dig into application development issues, quickly gather and synthesize information, devise a plan, get buyin and move towards a solution.
