Description
Responsibilities BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
Thorough knowledge of Modern OS architecture concepts and communications protocols.
78+ years experience with coding in more than two development languages (C#, SQL, VB.NET, C++, Objective C, HTML, Java Script, Java, XML, ASP.NET, etc.) and be proficient in those languages.
78+ years experience with web development environments (Windows Server, IIS, WebSphere or Apache).
78+ years experience with RPG, Free Format, CL, COBOL, FTP, SQL, XML, RDI.
Strong database design and development.
Solid modern graphical user interface and development methodologies.
Fundamental software development methodologies, design and implementation.
Advanced knowledge of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
Knowledge of finance and credit card systems.
Advanced analytical, design and problemsolving skills at multiproduct/multienvironment level to troubleshoot system defects and mitigate the issues they cause.
Strong skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Understanding and awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express and document complex technical concepts in business terms. Person must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical staff, nontechnical staff, endusers for requirements gathering, testing, training, and outcome validation. Good Englishlanguage skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent teamoriented interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional project team environment.
Solid understanding of concepts of project planning and project management techniques to assist in small projects and/or group initiatives.
Develop and maintain new and existing technology systems; Mentor other developers.
Create and maintain complex applications for the benefit of internal and external customers. Provide oversight to project team members on development best practices and assist with coding questions as needed.
Lead the development of technical application design documents on complex projects.
Provide unit testing of all coding changes with the goal of providing a stable production environment.
Provide oversight and final testing of code from other project team members.
Builds and maintains applications in such a way that exceeds regulatory requirements. Develop appropriate requirements, scope, and estimates.
Communicate consistently and effectively with internal business partners to understand appropriate business requirements.
Develop working relationships with internal business partners and project team member.
Build trust with our partners in our knowledge and delivery of technology.
Actively supports companies strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
Identifies development opportunities and works with manager to establish learning focus and learning plan.
Manages learning plan and reports on progress at quarterly coaching sessions with manager.
