Description of Services This role will be 100% onsite in Redwood City, CA. The candidate will report directly to (Head of IT Development) and work closely with our IT Applications team to support various departments in the company. You will write custom web applications in Java. We are looking for an innovator that wants to contribute to the team. We are a small team so you need to be able to work independently. Required Skills Recent version of Java (e.g 7 or 8)
Solid Understanding of software development within Java/JVM ecosystem.
Experience with JEE, common web frameworks such as Spring, strut, etc..
Experience with Unit testing
Webapplication technologies (JSP, HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Web services (e.g. REST and/or SOAP APIs)
Database experience a plus (MySQL, SQL, etc..)
Recent experience writing and debugging Java code
