SQL BI Developer

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designing and coding database tables to store the applications data Develop new database objects such as stored procedures, triggers and functions etc. Well versed with objectoriented programming concepts and able to leverage and apply them while creating SQL objects Help write and optimize inapplication SQL statements Design and write unit test cases for the changes to ensure quality Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Reviewing query performance and optimizing code Prepare documentations and specifications Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Ability to write adhoc queries to produce reports needed by the business users. Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices Work in agile team and ensure timely delivery of the tasks Capable of troubleshooting application issues and provide support to the Tier 1 application support team Ability to perform data fixes to resolve user issues. Analyze and apply permanent fixes to the recurring issues
