Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Description

Support Experience for large ECommerce websites. Hands on support Experience with Web technologies, Linux, Java/J2EE, SPLUNK, Dynatrace. Drive towards automation and production first mindset. o Experience with large websites production support.
o Hands on Application profiling / performance management Exp using tools like Dynatrace.
o Extensive log analysis / troubleshooting experience using SPLUNK.
o Handson Splunk Query preparation / dashboarding exp.
o Ability to look for Automation and monitoring improvements. o Knowledge on Synthetic / Real user monitoring KeyNote, NewRelic, Tealeaf. o Good to have knowledge on Caching (EH cache/ Varnish), Messaging (Kafka)
o Good to have Knowledge on Google Cloud and No SQL / distributed databases Cassandra. o Ensuring website availability and response time are within SLAs
o Troubleshoot issues related to website frontend, Java applications, order deviations, upstream and downstream systems. o Ensuring high availability of the production websites. defining SLOs and error budgeting
o Setting up monitoring and alerting required. o Identifying toil and work on automation. o Coordination with various workstreams and taking part in troubleshooting
o Must have sense of urgency and display high availability towards Production o Excellent website troubleshooting skills
o Good written/Oral Communication, Presentation , Interactive skills with team across geography.
o Flexible to work either independently or with team.
o Onshore / Offshore team management, capacity planning.
