Description General Responsibilities Designs, programs, debug, and modify software enhancements, system components and/or new products.. May lead all types of projects, is sought out as SME, and is a productwide advocate for quality coding. Design, spec, schedule, and provide quality implementation for mid to largesize projects that have higher visibility. Find creative, tractable new ways to improve coding standards. Independently understand scheduling, cost constraints, and impact to other teams; and make resource and architectural tradeoffs based on those factors. Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks, before they occur, and present technical issues and their impact to management. Effectively build and maintain a network of key contacts across company, and leverages these contacts to achieve results. We are looking for an adaptable, high performing, motivated, and selfreliant fullstack Software Engineer with past experience developing leading edge web applications in a cloud architecture. You will Build reusable componentbased web UI architectures with React.js Develop features relying on eventdriven data and microservices via GraphQL Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers Drive architectural decisions on our frontend and backend systems Top 3 Skill Set Confirmed trackrecord of delivering tested, optimized, and resilient highperformance JavaScript code in a distributed environment Contribute to vigilantly rewriting, refactoring, and perfecting code. You possess a deep understanding of Web and API architecture, Programs/Tools that will be used Technologies JavaScript, GraphQL, React, Backbone, AWS Tools Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, Kibana CI/CD Jenkins, Git, Docker Skilled with JS build process frameworks Webpack, Babel, etc. Previous Experience required/preferred 8 years programming in Javascript Excels in an Agile/Scrum team environment Familiarity with testandlearn approaches using web and customer analytics data, understanding how these will drive hypothesesbased development Experience working in a high volume, highly resiliant eCommerce platform is a plus
