As a Web Development Engineer within the Innovation discipline, the candidate will be responsible of software development our inhouse web applications and deliver the functionalities our client teams need. By working closely with the cross functional team and making decisions on the any features build required. The candidate will also be in charge of implementation, documentation, and integration of a variety of software platforms through the REST API framework. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fastpaced environment, as our process enables us to deliver and improve on the product quickly. Primary Responsibilities Architect and implement software solutions that drive our client applications, providing access to data, caching, job scheduling, messaging, search and notifications. Architect and implement microservices that provide system integration and automation of processes. Design and implement highly scalable, performant, fault tolerant data storage and processing systems, with technologies including MongoDB Atlas and Azure SQL Server. Collaborate with product managers to get a feature to market faster. Identify opportunities to improve MKTG software infrastructure through research, proof of concepts and production integration. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience in programming languages including Python, C++, Java, etc.
Solid foundations in computer science fundamentals, particularly OO, data structures, and algorithms. Solid experience with relational databases and NoSQL
Experience creating software solutions for third party clients in a consultative environment
Excited about hard problems and creating nextgen solutions.
