ETL Developer

ETL DEVELOPER WITH STRONG ORACLE SQL EXPERIENCE The ETL developer is responsible for creating and managing ETL processes that load data from various sources into the Oracle database. The candidate would participate in design, development, testing, execution and quality assurance of both automated and manual ETL data integration processes. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop ETL and database solutions. Create robust and highperforming ETL mappings. Coordinate activities with data source subject matter experts to ensure integration, data integrity and data quality. Translate business requirements into ETL designs and mapping specifications. Participate in identification and selection of appropriate methodologies. Design and develop Oracle stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process. Perform data profiling and source to target mappings (while capturing ETL and business metadata) for populating data models. Write scripts for automated testing of data. Understand and contribute to enterprise database data model. Work with both business and technology team members. Provide technical knowledge support to the team. Deliver excellent quality of code and documentation. Deliver assigned work independently. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related major. 5+ years of related work experience. Strong ETL design and develop experience. Experience in Oracle. Excellent SQL skills Good written and verbal communication skills. Team player, collaborative. Critical thinker, good problem solver. Experience working on an Agile environment. Any domain knowledge/ education/ experience in chemistry, biology or environmental science a plus.
