Position Description
A developer with strong experience in Core Java, spring, Service Oriented Architecture, SQL/PLSQL, Unix/perl scripting is needed to work in the Firm Risk Management IT team that supports the Risk Management department which is responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks generated by Morgan Stanley's business lines. The ideal candidate will have handson experience designing, building systems in a multithreaded distributed environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience with high data volume activity and big data based implementation will be a big plus. Education
Level BS in Computer Science or relevant Technical Degree
Experience Level
8+ Years of Experience in Software Development
Skills Required
5+ year experience in Core Java, Service Oriented design & development
2+ year experience with Unix/perl scripting
3+ years Database Design/Stored Procedure/SQL development (DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase etc.)
Excellent analytical ability
Strong collaboration and communication skills
