Marketing Cloud Position
The Ohio State University seeks partner services from Salesforce Marketing Cloud certified personnel between August and November 2019, for a period of time to be mutually agreed upon by OSU and the Staffing Firm. A primary point of contact throughout the engagement is preferred; however, the position may be filled by one or more persons, depending on experience and credentials. Position requirements are listed below Evaluate OSUs short and longterm marketing automation use cases and make recommendations on key Marketing Cloud architecture patterns for OSU to consider relative to its goals. Produce a detailed design document that outlines the implementation of Marketing Cloud and applicable features.
Consult with OSU on Marketing Cloud sandbox and testing options and offer recommendations for OSU to consider relative to its goals. Based on OSUs preferred architecture, produce a detailed design document outlining a Marketing Cloud test plan to address email sends, tracking, automation, and other factors critical to readiness.
Provide consultation on, and if necessary configure, the data integration between Marketing Cloud and the Salesforce CRM via the Marketing Cloud Connector. Consultation will address automated data sync patterns between Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM, as well as segmentation, filters, lists, data extensions, campaigns, etc. Consultation must also include elements necessary for compliance (e.g., preference center, optout, GDPR).
Produce a Marketing Cloud user roles and security permissions design document. Configure user/administrative roles and security permissions.
Configure a business unit with a selection (fewer than 20) of OSUprovided journey use cases that address different contact data tools, campaign automation types, data sources and relationships, email personalization, etc. OSU will provide the assets (e.g., email content, images) to support each use case. Configure standard reports and dashboards for the use cases.
Produce a deployment plan that outlines best practices for successfully deploying Salesforce Marketing Cloud email journeys. Provide services necessary to ensure successful email deployments (e.g., IP warming, the sender policy framework and authentication).
Preferred qualifications are listed below
At least three years experience in technical consulting on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform architecture.
At least three years experience in successfully implementing/configuring the Enterprise Edition of Salesforce Marketing Cloud in conjunction with the Unlimited Edition of Salesforce Lightning CRM instance. Should have experience with the multiorg connector.
Experience with a Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation model that includes a blend of Customer personnel and Staffing Firm personnel contributing to the effort.
At least three years experience in successfully implementing/configuring the Enterprise Edition of Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a complex and decentralized ecosystem with more than one CRM instance and overlapping audiences.
At least three years experience in successfully implementing/configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud & CRM at highered institutions.
Experience with the Salesforce CRM Education Data Architecture (EDA).
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Email Specialist Certifications.
Available to provide onsite service in Columbus, Ohio (although working exclusively from Columbus, Ohio, is not required).

Produce a detailed design document that outlines the implementation of Service Cloud and applicable features (e.g., rules, record types, roles, teams, channels, flows).
Configure reports and dashboards to monitor Service Level Agreements
Provide consultation on integrations with call center and inperson queueing applications.
Consult with OSU on Service Cloud testing options and offer recommendations for OSU to consider relative to its goals. Based on OSUs preferred architecture, produce a detailed design document outlining a Service Cloud test plan.
