SAS Data Conversion Developer

Description

5+ years of SAS Base programming Heavy data conversions (converting from external sources MUST) from various data sources (flat files, MS Excel files, text files, XML files, etc.) using SAS Base SAS Enterprise Guide is required as well (Enterprise Guide is used as a part of the ETL process) 1. These candidates would have strong experience taking flat files/excel files/text files, uploading them into SAS, converting them to our platform (Linux) and testing for accuracy SAS SQL, DB2 experience Experience with SAS EG is a must (2+ years is a must) Strong expertise in Linux (preferred) or UNIX platforms (NOT Windows) Strong ETL experience / expertise Works on multiple projects concurrently and contributes to ontime and onbudget project goals. 2+ years experience solid understanding of the data conversion development and implementation process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning. Mainframe background is a plus (UNIX is the only other option if no MF) Application/technology experience or similar related training, focusing in the area of data analysis and/or data processing. Experience in Financial Services, Banking, 401(k), Define Contribution, Mixed Election, Retirement funds is highly preferred.
