Description
Summary This position is for a consultant with deep expertise in Spark and PySpark. You will be working closely with our ML Infra engineers and Data Scientists, tuning and debugging existing jobs and helping to productionize new workloads. Many of the workloads have high memory requirements and it is important for us to use the computer power efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of experience of software engineering experience
2+ years of experience working in Spark
PySpark preferred, but Scala or Java works too
Ability to work across several different engineering teams/projects
Ability to help with debugging, performance tuning, and cost tuning of jobs
