Devops Engineer

Description As a DevOps Linux NOC engineer your job will be supporting the cloud Linux infrastructure for the client in San Francisco. Our client uses the AWS Stack (EC2, Cloud Trail, Route 53, S3) and Client Cloud (Ansible, Puppet and Terraform) to perform Linux systems administration on their network infrastructure. You will be directly involved in supporting incident tickets related for internal clients and the DevOps model.
Experience working in 24/7 NOC environment The group size is 17 People
Experience working on a 4/10 schedule, MF (3 Shifts, Morning 6am3pm, Swing 2pm 11pm, Grave 10pm 7am) Weekend Shifts are 13 hour splits both Sat and Sunday) Please state shift you prefer to work Must Haves 510 years experience in the following fields or related fields.
Configuration Management Experience Ansible (Nice to Have) Puppet (Is better) Jenkins (Nice to Have), Client Dashboards (Nice to Have)
Experience handling tickets through Jira for internal Linux server support and AWS Instances (All hardware is cloud positioned)
Experience and problem solving, and know how to prioritize incidents, from P1 urgency to P3
Bash and/or Python scripting
Strong Linux engineering background with thorough knowledge of Linux and VMware support. Must absolutely have great Linux skills!
Good personality to work with..
OPS Environment experience including Google Cloud and VMware
Experience using monitoring tools Nagios and Client anomalies work together to alert engineers of problems (They are moving to Puppet and Terraform at the moment for more seamless recovery time.
Experience using Tracking/Ticketing software such as JIRA and Salesforce These are level 3 support engineers
Excellent attitude with a mindset to grow and get things done
