(Acknowledgement form is in the SOW doc, below in the attachment section) + NO MMR is required for this agency posting. The Candidate acknowledgement is required not an MMR. + NO remote work. Please do not submit any resources that assume they can work remotely. All resources must commit and understand that all work hours will be completed on site. + Any resource with the legal right o work in the US can be considered. Just know that the UBOE will not sponsor any resource. + It is a good practice to add vendor comments. Please do not sell their qualification or cut and past their resume in vendor comments. (it is moot to duplicate qualifications) Please make brief comments on your candidates Availability Are they local If offered, how soon can they start What is their situation ending a contract, unemployed, etc. Interested If not local, why would they want this position over an opportunity where they live currently (Why is a non local a better choice and less risky than a local resource) Where are they with prospects Interviews with other company, offers pending With other options they have, why would they be interested in this contract and where does int rank in their minds (Really recruit and ensure they are Available, interested and qualified.) The last thing we want is to select a resource that had no intention of working for the BOE but just wanted to leverage an offer to get a raise, etc. Some resources are more interested in a raises vs an new opportunity please ensure your submital is INTERESTED and will ACCEPT, if offered. In shore, Use the vendor comments to speak to obvious questions a manager would have that isn't answered in their resume. Again this is helpful suggestions. Remember to keep your vendor comments brief and speak to if they are local, nonlocal, why they available, and why they are interested. + The bid limit is open. Bid the going rate for your resource, based on their skills or experience. 70% of the scoring will be base on the resources skills and experience matching the needs of the SOW. 30% is score on the best rate. + Once your bid is submitted, it will be forwarded to the agency for review. (Not waiting for a closing date to schedule interviews) Even though you have the timeline to submit bids, BOE will review bids and schedule interviews, prior to the bid closing date. Looking for a strong business analyst candidate to perform financial quantitative analytics, quantitative analysis, data analytics, report development and maintenance, process analysis, forecasting and resource planning, and other related work as needed. Candidate will perform business intelligence and business analyst work with the State of Utah's FINET system, State Data warehouse, and Utah State Board of Education information systems. Candidate must possess a strong understanding of financial principles to include funding management principles and practices, and tracking methodologies. Candidate must have strong experience with IBM Cognos, SQL, Databases, Data Warehouses, Metadata Modeling, network security, and web programming languages and techniques.
