Why is this position open This is a back fill and we are bringing in a contractor to help get thru some short term, work load hump. This will roughly be a 6 month contract
How is it impacting the business Theres a definite impact, there is a SharePoint end of life initiative that needs to be done by end of the year and are transitioning some work over to a new system
What is the scope of the project Taking the work flows from SharePoint and over to Nintex. We need someone who is able to hit the ground running so experience knowing both systems is helpful! We would also look to this person to help elevate the knowledge within our own internal staff
Size and Culture of their team Team theyll be a part of is a 20 person IT team. They will work closely with one other person with Nintex knowledge
Other departments they will interact with This is for all of PGI, not just real estate in terms of business collaboration
This person must sit on site in DSM
Interviews will be an hour long on SKYPE.
Qualifications Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred. Advanced planning/organizational, problemsolving, analytical, time management, decisionmaking, and communication skills required, as well as solid leadership and basic presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate technical plans, strategies, and designs to all levels of the company. Basic knowledge of business unit applications preferred. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Proficiency with database applications; knowledge of mainframe, distributed, and/or web programming languages. Working Conditions Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience plus 610 years of experience in IT field required. Proven experience as a senior IT professional. Responsibilities Under general direction, identify and provide complex technical and business solutions to meet business strategy. Provide leadership in areas of expertise throughout all phases of application systems development. Nintex Developer Expectations Assist with implementation of Nintex workflows in conjunction with SharePoint 2010 endoflife initiative. Implement and support custom solutions based on business requirements. Troubleshoot existing solutions developed by other developers or endusers. Documentation, testing, development while meeting all associated guidelines and standard methodologies such as Secure Coding, QA, and User Acceptance Testing. Effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and nontechnical communities. Support and develop existing team members by providing advice, sharing knowledge and coaching. Required Skills Degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related IT degree. SharePoint Online development experience 4 years.
Nintex forms and workflow experience 2 years.
O365 experience.
Proficiency with Agile Development processes. Ability to work positively with the project stakeholders to find solutions. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems. Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
