Description
Essential Experience and Skills
Good understanding of RDBMS Concepts, Oracle PLSQL, SQL
Must have at least 8 years experience with Oracle PLSQL Development
Indepth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g+ Development
Indepth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning
Familiarity with Oracle specific tools and utilities such as Quest TOAD, PLSQL Developer, SQL Developer
Experience with Unix/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
Good understanding of Data warehousing and ETL concepts is preferred
Must be a good team player, selfmotivated, possessing good interpersonal communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving & documentation skills
Good US Healthcare knowledge on claims module
English language skills (both spoken and written) are required to effectively communicate with globally distributed team members
Major Responsibilities
Analyze User Requirements and translate into database requirements
Technical Design & Development of Database modules and components such as database packages and procedures, MVs etc.
Coding, Code Reviews & Unit Testing
Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code
Deliverables to be error free while meeting requirements
