Oracle DBA (Golden Gate)

Description

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator with experience in either the applicationfacing aspects of database administration (writing PL/SQL code, query tuning, data modeling), operationalfacing aspects (backup and recovery, DR, HA, deployments and installations) or a combination of both. Experience in running largescale production Oracle databases using public cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a must. Experience in advanced Oracle technologies (DataGuard, RAC, GoldenGate) is a huge advantage.
Roles and responsibilities
Engineer and support mission critical Oracle databases.
Plan and implement largescale Oracle migrations from onpremises to AWS, GCP and Azure.
Assist in modernizing existing application database backend to be fully cloudnative.
Work on Oracle versions 11g/12c, Golden Gate, DataGuard, RAC
Perform data modeling, query tuning and write complex PL/SQL stored procedures.
Mange production mission critical Oracle databases.
Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a production Oracle systems. I
Implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances, replication, backup, partitions, storage, and access.
Work closely with other technology counterparts inside and outside the organization including storage, network for a comprehensive solution to build a scalable DB infrastructure.
Your Qualifications
Three years experience as an Oracle DBA in mission critical production environments including installations, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience in Linux including troubleshooting commands, sh/awk/perl.
Complete and detailed understanding of Oracle database architecture
Production experience with Oracle DataGuard is a must.
Production experience with Oracle GoldenGate is a must.
Experienced at performing all routine DBA activities including install, upgrade, patching and database management.
Production database migration using EXPDP,IMPDP, DB backup using RMAN.
Performance troubleshooting, monitoring and tuning skills including reviewing and analyzing AWR reports and query execution plans.
Experience with schema design and modeling.
High level of confidence to perform DB switch overs, failovers, recovery
