Req overview Looking for experience with Mongo DB, securing it, backing it up, standing it up and getting it production ready. Having some Devops experience with Ansible to be able to automate this and get this running several times. Tuning experience, Systems DBA. For 1/1/20, business units must meet the legal obligations of CCPA (Right to Know/Access and Right to Delete). Manual estimates require significant budget. Therefore, there exists an opportunity to leverage software platforms that can discover, map, index, and automate consumer data rights. Longer term, this tool will facilitate compliance with other similar state and federal regulations. In addition, this work will provide foundational elements to be used in an enterprise data management strategy and allow customers access and control of their data in a transparent manner. This req is for the resources needed to build out the software platform for this initiative (BigID). Seeking a MongoDB Engineer for Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC
This role provides an exciting opportunity to roll out a new strategic initiative within the firm Enterprise Infrastructure BigID Service. The BigID Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps serves as a development and support expert with responsibility for the design, development, automation, testing, support and administration of the enterprise infrastructure for the BigID Service. The role requires experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible. This will involve building and supporting a BigID platform utilized by Fidelitys Data Compliance community. The incumbent will be responsible for enabling infrastructure features, ongoing support and administration, and documentation for the service.
This role is infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and support. The position requires a strong background in computer architecture, software development, data management systems, distributed computing, and a solid understanding of the opensource technology ecosystem. An ideal prospect will have technical expertise, customer engagement skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for organizing and analyzing data.
Primary Responsibilities
The incumbent will have the opportunity of working directly across the firm with developers, operations staff, data scientists, architects and business constituents to develop and enhance the big data service. Key responsibilities include Development, support, and maintenance of the BigID platform Development, support, and maintenance of Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub is a strong plus Design, development and implementation of automation innovations Development of automated infrastructure testing scripts Building and nurturing relationships with Fidelitys Database communities Contribution to all phases of the application lifecycle requirements, development, testing, implementation, and support. Responding and providing guidance to customers of the BigID platform Defining and implementing integration points with existing technology systems Interacting with and participating in opensource software communities Researching and remaining current on Docker Container and Container Orchestration industry trends and innovations Participating in a 24 x 7 hour oncall support rotation

Education and Experience
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent Masters degree is a plus 3+ years application development or systems administration experience 3+ years of development experience in one or more of the following languages Java, C++, Perl, Python Experience deploying or managing opensource software Strong experience with any Linux distribution 2+ year experience with Docker and Docker Compose 2+ year experience with Ansible 2+ year experience with Kubernetes 2+ year experience with AWS ECS 2+ year experience with MongoDB Database administration experience a plus
