Description

Skills Required 1. Experience inf movement of data to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Platform. Certification in AWS would be ideal.
2. Working knowledge and development experience of JAVA applications/web services which utilize the (Hadoop) HBase, Solr, and Hive API's for application integration to those Hadoop services.
3. Development knowledge and experience of JAVA and JUnits.
4. Working knowledge and development experience needed to create, manage, and support Jenkins build jobs, including continuous delivery pipelines.
5. Experience or knowledge of Agile Development practices.
6. Prior experience at State Farm helpful but not required.
7. Provides design/data movement services to help develop solutions that improve overall quality of data and support enterprise data strategies.
8. Uses applied analytics to enable data driven decisions by applying innovative analytic techniques, and providing exploratory research and analysis.
9. Develops data access related to storing, retrieving or acting on housed data.
10. Develops for technical data platforms such as DB2, SQL, IMS across multiple operating systems.
11. Tests data requirements for the movement, replication, synchronization and validation of data.
12. Understands data infrastructure needed to support data services and automation.
13. Proactively increase knowledge in the data industry, its related technologies and tools in order to work on a wide variety of assignments and products.
14. Provides product and/or process subject matter expertise necessary to support design, development, testing and execution of technology solutions.
15. Exhibits DevOps mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset.
