Position Summary (Purpose of job) The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst within the Total Payment Implementation Services organization works as a both member of a client services team that provides implementation, custom enhancements and support services for ClaimsXten customers and lead that provides management and mentoring to other QA Analysts in the organization. The Sr. QA Analysts main responsibilities are installing, configuring and maintaining customer QA environments, as well as, performing testing activities related to new customer implementations and ongoing customer enhancements to ensure that deliverables are made in a timely manner and are of high quality. In addition, the Sr. QA Analyst/Lead is responsible for ensuring QA best practices are being followed throughout the organization and assist in the onboarding/mentorship of new QA resources to the team.
Analyst must be an active participant within the assigned team structure to ensure quality deliveries within targeted timeframes based upon work effort and allocation. Key Responsibilities (List the top four to seven essential responsibilities in priority order must total 100) %
Define, develop, maintain and execute test scripts to ensure that functional requirements are met. Test and signoff on releases independently. 30
Setup, install, test and maintain QA environments and test data. 20
Managing best practices and onboarding activities. 20
Coordinate with internal resources to clarify requirements, specifications, and issues, review test scripts, and manage test cycles. 20
Manage defects and QA artifacts through an online tracking tool. 10
Minimum Job Qualifications Education/Training
4year degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience
Business Experience (include minimum years of experience)
5+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance. Specialized Knowledge/Skills Must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to teach and mentor others.
Must possess strong organizational skills.
Must possess strong analytical skills for interpreting customer requirements.
Must have a strong background in software QA best practices, testing and validation concepts.
Must be able to work as an integral member of a distributed, collaborative team.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting within your team and customers. Must possess the ability to lead meetings with customers on QA related matters.
Must process the ability to learn and apply both inhouse and offtheshelf tools that assist in performing your job.
Must be a selfstarter that requires little supervision to complete tasks.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work.
Should have experience troubleshooting technical issues that arise during the testing process. Should have basic to intermediate SQL skills.
Should have experience working with command line utilities, remote desktop clients, Windows services and XML.
Should be proficient with Microsofts Office suite.
Experience with Jira a plus. Recommend Knowledge/experience within the healthcare industry. Medical claims and/or coding experience a plus.
Basic software development lifecycle knowledge. Familiarity with Linux/Windows server operating systems.
Experience working with Oracle Databases.
