Description The role will require enough experience such that the individual will not require a lot of guidance or training on basic
Salesforce.com development and configuration tasks. The individual should be able to build scalable solutions that will
focus on Sales and Service Processes to support both the B2B and B2C business practices.
The developer will work on a team assisting with the merger of different Salesforce Cloud platforms. The role will require consolidation of business process changes and configurations.
Responsibilities for this Position Include Create and Manage Changes to the System
Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes
Proactively gather requirements and feedback from users
Participate in scrum and sprint planning meetings
Communicate system changes to the users in advance so business users and team members understand any changes and how to use it prior to implementation
Manage system changes without interruption to users
Modify the system to increase benefits and usability
Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce.com objects and functions
Create custom objects and/or integrations when necessary
Handle ongoing customization / alteration of assigned Salesforce.com tasks
Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the
Salesforce.com environment
Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
Provide support functions as needed
Provide sales and financial data to company executives
Maintain System, Security and Integrity
Map salesforce.com hierarchy and territories in response to personnel changes
Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to personnel changes
Grant/ remove and maintain user licenses
Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels
Design, Create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies
Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of 35 years of experience specific to Salesforce.com development and configuration. Other requirements include, but are not limited to A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical domain
experience syncing with large data volumes, (i.e experience with data loader)
Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard salesforce.com reporting functionality
Previous reengineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
experience integrating with external objects and specifically Apex Call Outs,
experience with HTML / CSS / and/or Java, in addition to Apex, and
experience working with Lightning and Triggers
As an additional factor, experience will be leveraging different Contract Lifecycle Management Architecture(s) would be a significant plus. If the individual has prior experience with Visual Force and the Vlocity/Selectica Architecture(s) it would help in their ability to satisfy requirements for this specific position.
