Description

Job Description Manage programs and complex cross functional projects for IT project execution. This role will require coordination across multiple IT organizations and Business Partner organizations. Responsible for providing comprehensive execution management oversight of large matrix teams and business partners for programs (made up of related projects) within one or more organizational portfolios. This position is aligned with senior business and IT functional leaders to drive planning and execution of largescale, complex initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provides overall leadership and management of program
Program Benefit Management including participation in definition of new projects within program, measuring and tracking of program benefits
Program Stakeholder Management including identification of program stakeholders, facilitation of programlevel steering committee & manage communications with stakeholders
Ensures alignment of project schedules to meet program objectives
Develops initial funding of projects and manages the overall program budget
Reviews project status reports and creates program level status report
Reviews alternatives and makes decisions based upon detailed analysis Ensures adherence to standard and processes for program and constituent projects with in the program
Works with vendor & applicable Quest parties to help establish SOW to meet program needs. Manage vendor contribution to project per approved SOW and escalates appropriately JOB REQUIREMENTS Critical Know How and Skill Selection Criteria
Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in analytics, informatics, computer science, programming, health care or business administration. Masters degree preferred.
PMP and/or PgMP certification desirable
7 or more years experience leading multiple largescale, crossfunctional IT projects.
Experience leading offshore development projects
Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent grasp of current technologies, capable of working with all levels of the organization (both IT and Business)
Ability to travel up to 20%, with variability appropriate to initiative Accountabilities / Metric
Ability to work evening or early morning hours to work with offshore teams as needed
Meet the following objectives for the overall program as well as oversight of the objectives for all projects within the program On time
On budget
On scope (functional and technical requirements)
Tracking of program benefits per business case
IT Project Execution Process (PEP) quality metrics
Vendor service level compliance
Preferred Training and Certifications (one or more of the following)
PMIACP
(Agile Certified Professional) Scrum
Alliance (Certified Scrum Master/Certified Scrum Product Owner/Certified Scrum
Developer)Scrum
Alliance (Certified Scrum Professional)PMP Certification
(externally administered by the Project Management Institute)
Proficiency in CA Clarity and Rally project management software preferred
Proficiency in DevOps tools preferred
