Java Developer

Description

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas Measuring, analyzing, and directing automation coverage of applications under test. Ability to deconstruct complex functionality to enable automation implementation between disparate teams for successful automation.
Working with existing test team members to facilitate automation of a large set of existing manual test cases for a complex auditing domain applications
Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins/VSTS) and code coverage tools (Sonarqube, Cobertura, Emma) to ensure measurement of code coverage.
Scripting skills;
Ability to understand and troubleshoot issues at different levels of an application and assist in maintaining automation coverage of CI release pipeline;
Testing systems in cloud, onprem and hybrid environments;
Understanding of Webservice standards (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, JSON etc.)
Knowledge of Core Java is preferred
Handling test data in various formats (JSON, XML, CSV, etc.) and understanding data storage, encoding, encryption, data transformation, and related concepts;
Experience automating hybrid applications crossing multiple technologies
Develop continuous improvement initiatives to improve script resiliency and reduce maintenance cost.
Answering questions and provide direction to lessexperienced staff;
Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; and,
Performing creative and persistent problem solving.
