Description
Microsoft Azure (HDInsight clusters and Azure Databricks services) or Spotfire Administration or SQL Server DBA
Need SQL DBA with Azure experience
Spotfire, APS and informatica basic would be added advantage.
Strong experience in working with SQL Server 2012 and above.
Proficient in performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, patching, upgrades and high availability.
Should have experiance in Installation and configuration of new SQL Servers.
Support and Administer SQL Server database instances effectively and independently.
Tuning TSQL queries to improve performance.
Advise developers on the most efficient database designs (tables, data types, stored procedures, functions, etc)
Exposure to Implement database replications, mirroring
Proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Strong communication skills are required. Must be capable of interacting with client.
Must have hands on experience with SQL DBA tasks and Performance tuning.
Must have knowledge on power shell
Database upgrade and Migration Good troubleshooting skills Onpremises database/application migration to cloud would be added advantage
