Description

ServiceNow Application Engineers are responsible for application development, customizations, design enhancements, troubleshooting, and hands-on production support functions. You will work across the ServiceNow application suite, delivering new functionality, new products and work across the entire lifecycle from design through to release. This role is a key resource in a process-oriented work environment, creating and streamlining efficient ServiceNow application solutions.

You are THE go to person on all things ServiceNow. In addition to ServiceNow, your broad technical knowledge & experience provide you the capacity to effectively solve complex technical challenges and develop creative solutions.

Your Next Challenge

ServiceNow Application Support Engineers are responsible for application development, customizations, design enhancements, troubleshooting, integrations, and hands-on production support functions. Utilizing the ServiceNow application suite you will deliver new solutions and functionality and work across the entire development lifecycle from design through to release. This role is a key resource in a process-oriented work environment and ultimately acts as the service owner and steward of all things ServiceNow.

Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert and overall implementation best-practice coordinator.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and validate business requirements for new functionality or enhancements.
Design and implement new functionality using scripted Business Rules, UI Policies, Access Lists, etc.
Develop cutting-edge applications and creative solutions utilizing the core ServiceNow platform
Use Mid server, web-services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with ServiceNow
Provides support of ITSM tools; including scripting, configuration, integrations and administration
Author and maintain operational support documentation.
Mentor peers on best-in-class application / solution development, product lifecycle management, policies, and practices.
Identify and implement process improvements
What you will need

2 years demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development or administration (or similar platform).
ServiceNow (or similar platform) customization including: UI tailoring, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting and third party software integrations using Web Services, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server technologies.
Must have solid programming skills (JavaScript preferred)
Experience working with software development teams to assemble custom application development solutions.
Excellent customer service & communications skills.
Strong technical/problem solving skills.
Experienced in Lean/Agile/Scrum project methodologies
