C++ CAD or Graphics
He/she should be able interact with PhD level research scientists so should possess similar level of knowledge and skills.
Strong understanding of computational geometry algorithms and data structures, solid modeling, related representations and algorithms
Parallel programming experience
Graphic Card (GPU) programming experience
Commercial software product development experience
