Required:-
7+ Years of experience required.
Database Administration responsibilities include:
Administration and troubleshooting of DB2 databases
Database installation, build and configuration
Perform database rolling patch/version upgrade with minimum downtime
Setup and maintain High Availability using HADR and TSA
Deep understanding on db2haicu, RSCT and TSA
Managing Table spaces SMS and DMS
Backup and restoration procerdures. Point-in time recovery of database and table spaces
Perform SQL and Database performance tuning and maintenance
DB2 lock management, identifying and fixing deadlocks
Create Unix/Perl shell scripts to perform database maintenance/automation
