Description
The person filling this position will join a team of 11 who support application service teams and project teams across all of IT, both in Cleveland and Colorado Springs. They will interact daily with application developers, release and deployment analysts, the Capabilities R&D (Research & Development) Team, Software Development Tools Team, Environments Team, project managers, and service managers. A primary responsibility is to provide source code management services including development and maintenance of build and elevate scripts for applications using ADO pipelines, in addition to performing source code merges and supporting/consulting on converting from TFS VCS to TFS GIT repositories. The individual will also support tools used by other development teams and systems and provide troubleshooting, simple maintenance, and requests for enhancements.
In this role the contractor will get exposure to applications across all business units, as well as CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) development and engineering practices. This is a key role for positioning application elevates to Production, ensuring minimal impact and maximum quality for running the day-to-day business.
