Business Intelligence Architect

Description

Technical Project Manager in BI space specifically who has experience or involved in Cognos to Business Objects migration activity. This is a PM role but need to be hands on as and when required.



Project Management Responsibilities:

Meet with stake holders to take technical requirements for the project
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared business and IT stake holders
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals
Act as liaison between Business and IT stakeholders
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Technical Requirement Responsibilities:

Understand overall existing BI architecture, reporting data model, other components and reports
Understand existing reporting challenges
Understand new DWH and reporting model
Onsite and Offshore coordination
Ensure offshore delivery
Desired Skills:

3+ years of Project Management experience in handling Data Warehouse projects
Project Management in Agile process is plus
5 + years of experience in Business Objects and Cognos Reporting tool
5 + years of experience with RDBMS databases like Oracle and SQL Server
Should have decent Health Care background
Good understanding on overall SDLC process
