Job Description:

Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
Server management, Server monitoring, Query optimization, Database management, Tuning and load balancing, DB back up management.
Manage backup / recovery for MySQL instances & provide Disaster Recovery (DR) support.
Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Install, deploy and manage MongoDB/MySQL on physical and virtual machines.
Create, configure and monitor large-scale, secure, MongoDB/MySQL shared clusters.
Support MongoDB in a high availability, multi-data center environment.
Administer MongoDB/Sql Ops Manager monitoring, backups and automation.
Configure and monitor numerous MongoDB instances and replica sets
Automate routine tasks with your own scripts and open-source tools
Improve database backups and test recoverability regularly
Study the database needs of our applications and optimize them using MongoDB/MySQL
Maintain database performance and capacity planning
All database administration tasks like backup, restore, SQL optimizations, Provisioning infrastructure, setting up graphing, monitoring and alerting tools, replication
Hands on experience on MySQL replication Master & Master and Master Slave (Mandatory), Experience with replication configuration in MySQL.
