Duties and responsibilities
As a Senior AWS Architect, develop current state, target state, and roadmap for business architecture in key areas with focus on AWS migration with focus on EMR. Drive and support enterprise-wide strategic efforts aimed at improving end-to-end processes. Provide support and leadership to inform and aid governance councils in evaluation of new project spending on cloud migration. Assess overall functioning of technology, business processes and data to look for ways to upgrade and optimize in the future.
Required qualifications
" Highly technical AWS Developer possessing 10+ years of IT platform implementation experience
" Experienced in designing and developing integrated solution using the AWS services.
" Experience with setting up and managing EMR
" Deep hands-on experience in implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing enterprise environments
" Familiarity with a broad range of enterprise infrastructure and application products
" Understanding the relevant infrastructure, application and operations implications of the designed/developed solution.
" Setting-up and configuring AWS services to best practices.
